St. Mark’s recently formed an environmental stewardship committee to embody a spirit of cooperative planning and management of our environmental resources on a local and individual level. We seek to do all that we can as Christians to facilitate resource recovery and replenishment where all charity begins — at home. We seek to help our parish community and the community at large focus on issues pertaining to long term sustainability and to increase awareness concerning a universal responsibility for environmental quality as our actions affect the environment.
• Recycling efforts for all parish functions
• Annual community garden
• Prescription bottle reclamation
• Information distribution.
