St. Mark’s Parish holds the liturgical traditions of the Episcopal Church in high esteem.
The Book of Common Prayer informs our worship. We celebrate Holy Eucharist each Sunday using both Rite I and Rite II as appropriate.
Music forms an integral and essential part of our prayer together. The Hymnal provides a wide variety of hymnody and service music. We also employ supplemental music such as Wonder, Love, and Praise to enrich our resources.
Liturgical preaching is highly valued by our community. Lectionary based sermons are a regular part of our worship and often form the basis for further discussion during the coffee hour that follows our Sunday service.
